WHY DO I LOVE DANCE?
2002.

This is a documentary film featuring the members of Zagreb dance milieu (dancers, choreographers, dance critics…) answering an apparently simple question: “Why do I love dance?”, and dancing their personal dance in front of the camera. Very intimate and touching answers provide evidence that there are people who are all connected through their passionate love for dance despite their differences. In our society’s value system they really are “some strange kind”.

This documentary dance film was created as a part of the project “Some strange kind”, video-dance installation realised in the framework of the “Gallery of movements” project by Croatian institute for movement and dance, and produced for the 20th Dance week festival in Zagreb.
